Position Summary: The plant relief is an essential part of this company. The plant relief employee is responsible for performing all jobs within the plant. This position will relieve employees while they are on vacation. As such a plant relief is expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as follow all instructions as given by the manager/foreman. Tasks and Responsibilities: Pasteurize – follow all best practices and food safety procedures. Learn all fillers and raw/pasteurized CIP systems. Milk receiving. Capable to receive raw milk and cream. Adheres to company policies, procedures, and business ethics. Work cooperatively with management & colleagues. Maintain a clean and neat work area. Secure all equipment when not in use. Minimum Job Requirements: Ability to read, write and speak English. Must be able to communicate effectively with management & colleagues. Must acquire a Pasteurizer license, and plant sampling/appendix n license. Must have be able to multitask. Physical Requirements: Frequently lift to 50 pounds Ability to perform tasks and responsibilities in plant conditions.
