Perennial flowers, 2 consecutive days, answer your questions on my 30 yrs experience with Old English style gardens or just flower gardens in general. This 2 day class is design for those without much knowledge and just starting with perennial gardening. Perennials are only planted once, they return year after year, without having to buy more flowers the following year, such as annuals. It would be my interest to answer all of your questions pertaining to climate zone hardiness, which flowers do best in sun or shade, which do best in sand or fertile soils, also garden tools, advice on mulching, composting, trimming, the producing of seeds, dead heading...various helpful books on the subject gardening. Also, something to consider...should any individual be interested in free mature flowers for his/her own garden, in exchange for some hands on training, garden assistant...is something that could be considered. This instruction is open to 6 participants who register by email. This 2 day instruction begins, Monday, June 14th and 15th, from 9 AM to 11 AM. The instruction is free.
