Description
We are a 501c3 non profit org that is in partnership with the US Forest Service in the Tahoe Forest. We are restoring some of the oldest rangers stations in the Forest. Once restored and made habitable, we will be bringing foster kids and at risk youths into the forest, unplugged, to experience the healing benefits of the wilderness. Just a beautiful 2 hour drive from Sac and you are off the grid and in the woods. Rivers streams, hiking trails, wildlife and many awesome events coming soon. If you are an outdoors person looking to volunteer while getting free camping, we have great opportunities for you and your family that can last a lifetime. Our online presence has been lacking, but our commitment to this project is solid and rooted in helping kids, families, trauma victims and more. We will be repurposing these properties from Ranger Stations to multi use wilderness facilities in the forest. Come and help develop campsites or work behind the scenes. If you reply please include any skills you have that we may need. Our most important need at this time is someone to research available grants, and a grant proposal writer. The H4 Foundation: Historically Fun 4 All. We hope you unplug and join us in the woods.
