Job Description Fabrication Assistant Position Summary: Fabrication Assistant's role is to support the fabrication team to ensure timelines are being met, and shop is well organized. Essential Duties · Ensure work area is clean, organized and free of dangerous or hazardous materials · Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely, meeting schedule due dates. · Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor. · Assist with material organization, receiving and documenting · Paint prep - sanding, bondo work, quality checks, minor paint/paint touch up · Material cutting - complete cut lists for products - ability to use saws, shear and metal break · Product quality control, organization and movement · Assist with miscellaneous fabrication tasks as team needs · Assist with assembly for completion of products Qualifications: · Positive attitude and creative insight · Ability to accurately measure and cut materials · Strong ability to work with your hands · Ability to learn new skills and techniques · Willingness to accept constructive criticism in order to improve your skill set · Strong attention to detail to maintain highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction · Comfortable with change in a variety of situations · Ability to complete multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment · Willingness to work under pressure in a dynamic environment · A positive attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to complete the project · Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding or lifts Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
