SHIPPING & RECEIVING AND GENERAL SHOP HELP Located in Boulder, Colorado, AOV Inc. is seeking a person for Shipping & Receiving and General Shop Help to join our Screen Print, Embroidery, and Promotional Products team. Responsibilities: We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, detail oriented person, capable of working in multiple areas of our shop as needed, with an emphasis on S&R duties and warehouse support. Shipping & Receiving Associate duties include performing and controlling a combination of manual and automated tasks necessary for receiving, storage and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, pulling, packing, shipping, staging and delivery, etc. Shipping and receiving tasks include loading and unloading truck shipments and stocking the warehouse shelves. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from inventory to the printshop. Manage work orders & inventory using FileMaker Pro Receive in company purchased & customer supplied product Verify to purchase order &/or packing slip Sort, count and unpack/unbag inventory that is received Unbagging, applying hangtags & barcodes and hangers to garments Check inventory to verify availability of needed stock Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and acceptable methods/practices Follow special instructions and requests for garments Stock shipping supplies and product in the warehouse Operate dolly, pallet jack and fork lift in loading and unloading material/pallets Prepare labels and requisitions for shipment in accordance with the work order and customer requirements Fold, poly bag & heat seal finished garments Notify supervisor of problems and/or shortages with orders Basic Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED Available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7AM - 4 PM & overtime as needed Physical requirement - ability to bend, twist, reach, climb ladders, lift materials up to 65 lbs Able to stand for long periods of time Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Have outstanding punctuality and attendance Solid computer literacy skills Excellent attention to detail is a must Ability to speak, read and follow directions in English required Shipping & Receiving experience preferred - will train the right person Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with shipping/receiving/inventory control Experience operating a forklift Experience using Filemaker Pro software
