Ad agency is hiring warm, energetic, and outgoing LGBTQIA+friendly brand ambassadors age 21+ for outdoor street team events promoting HIV testing throughout the month of June. Branded t-shirts provided, as well as masks and sanitizer. Masks are required to be worn while working and social distancing observed during the shift. You should be comfortable projecting your voice loudly so that people can hear you with your mask on, and from a distance. The dates are rain or shine, so be prepared to work in any weather. FRIDAY, JUNE 4 - AVAILABLE SHIFTS -TEAM 2: Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station, sidewalk outreach - Shift time 3:30PM-8PM (All positions available) -TEAM 3: 7th St Metro Station, sidewalk outreach - Shift time 3:30PM-8PM (All positions available) -TEAM 4: Long Beach, sidewalk outreach outside of bars - Shift time 5:30PM-10PM (backup position only) SATURDAY, JUNE 5 - AVAILABLE SHIFTS -TEAM 1: Expo / Crenshaw Metro Station, sidewalk outreach - Shift time 3:30PM-8PM (All positions available) -TEAM 2: W Hollywood / Highland Metro Station, sidewalk outreach - Shift time 3:30PM-8PM (All positions available) -TEAM 3: WeHo "Out on Robertson" street fair tabling event, 5:30PM-10:15PM (backup position only) -TEAM 4: Long Beach, sidewalk outreach outside of bars - Shift time 5:30PM-10PM (backup position only) ***We will post additional event dates as they become available, the campaign will run Fri-Sun every weekend in June. Folks booked on the first weekend will have priority for future openings! ROLES/COMPENSATION: -We will always pay a 5 hour minimum per day even if the listed shift time is shorter. -Team Leaders will earn $28/hr and will be paid 1 additional hour per trip for supply pick up from our storage facility, 1 hour for supply drop off (only when items need to be returned to storage) and ½ hour for reporting after each event. Must have a vehicle to transport the event supplies, and we expect that the supplies for each event will fill a regular sedan trunk. Parking will be reimbursed or a prepaid parking pass provided. Additional travel time is paid for Long Beach shifts or other locations that may come up, as needed. -Brand Ambassadors earn $20/hr for the listed shift times. (Minimum 5 hours paid per day even if the shift is shorter). Additional travel time is paid for Long Beach shifts or other locations that may come up, as needed. -On-site Backups earn $40 to come to the event location at the shift start time and wait up to 30 minutes to find out if they're needed to stay and work the full shift for the full BA pay rate, if someone who was supposed to work doesn't show up or is running late. Must be available and willing to stay and work if needed. If not needed, backups will be free to go within 30 mins. -The first 30 minutes of every shift is time to change into the provided t-shirt, gather supplies/set up, prepare to work, and send a team check in photo. -Paid out via W4/W2/I9 payroll and direct deposit. Dates worked through June 10th will be paid on the 15th, dates worked from June 11-25 will be paid on July 1, and remaining dates paid on July 15th. DRESS CODE: -Provided branded t-shirt (white, short sleeves) -Blue, black or gray jeans or denim style shorts (no athletic type pants or shorts, no sweatpants, no leggings. No rips or tears, even if manufactured that way). Any shorts need to be an appropriate length to represent a medical/government client. -Neutral colored closed toe sneakers/shoes, comfortable for walking and standing.
