HIRING IMMEDIATELY - CALL (904)269-2473 Job 1 - Landscape Tech, Job 2 Team Lead & Job 3 Irrigation Tech Job 1—Landscape Technician Essential Duties: • Under a crew leader’s guidance and with additional training, the incumbent in this position worker will work to maintain landscaped grounds to a specified high standard. • Grounds maintenance • Identify and remove plants determined to be weeds in their present locations • Removes any debris, litter, and trash in and around shrub beds • Removes dead leaves, flowers and other materials, and trims as instructed • Adds additional mulch and removes old mulch from beds • Assists other staff with other landscaping responsibilities as directed by crew leader Experience: • Prior landscaping experience required. Education: • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) preferred. Required Skills: • Attention to detail / detail oriented Ability to drive motor vehicle • Respectful client relationships • Sensitivity to service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics • Must be able to work flexible hour • Prior supervisory experience preferred • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. • Must be able to perform duties that require a great deal of bending • Able to use edger, leaf blower and lawn mower to maintain grounds • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions • Knowledge of or willingness to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to landscaping duties • Excellent customer service and communication skills Preferred Skills: • Verbal communication (including telephone) • Team-oriented and collaborative interpersonal relationships • Maintain records Job 2—Team Lead Job Duties • Grounds maintenance • Identification and removal of plants determined to be weeds in their present locations • Removal of any debris, litter, and trash in and around shrub beds • Supervision of Landscape Technicians • Removal of dead leaves, flowers and other materials, and trimming as instructed • Complaint resolution • Add additional mulch and removing mulch from beds • Assist other staff with other landscaping responsibilities as needed The experienced incumbent in this position will maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial and residential irrigation systems to a specified high standard. Essential Duties: • Must be able to work flexible hours • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time • Must be able to perform duties that required a great deal of bending • Able to use troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions • Knowledge of or willingness to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to • irrigation services • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems • Must be able to work unsupervised • Experience with water lines, pumps, suction devices, valves and other irrigation equipment • Ability to use backhoes shovels, augers, and digging equipment Experience/Education/Licensure: • Prior irrigation experience 1 – 2 years • License, Certification, and/or Registration: Valid Florida Driver’s License • High School or GED All three positions have the following physical requirements: Physical Requirements: • Standing • Walking • Lifting (Up to 50lbs) • Carrying (Up to 50lbs) • Pushing/Pulling • Bending/Stooping • Reaching • Grasping • Turning • Repetitive Motions • Hazards • Proximity to moving mechanical parts • Housekeeping and/or cleaning agents • Toxic or caustic chemicals • Landscaping materials and products • Working outdoors in hot temperatures (above 90 degrees Fahrenheit)
