Salary Range: $92,796 - $110,804 Portland Public Schools (PPS) Maintenance Department is seeking talented people from diverse communities to manage the District’s Mechanical Department. The Senior Program Manager -Mechanical will lead the work of crews and craft personnel performing HVAC and plumbing related work, and will have administrative and financial responsibilities for the department performing those services. At PPS, every employee, despite having different roles, is an educator! We want someone who models the core PPS Educator Essentials and will be solutions-focused while supervising a team of staff who will be focused on the construction, maintenance and repairing the District buildings, structures, offices, facilities and associated mechanical systems. If you are a great communicator, skilled at managing projects, have the ability to achieve solutions to meet organizational objectives and have experience supervising staff we want you to apply. Experience/Education Requirements -High School Diploma or equivalent -Seven or more years of Facilities Maintenance Experience -One or more years of leading a team as a team leader or as a direct supervisor A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of work experience.
