Nervous Nellie needs a home

Description

Hey friends, we have to make the extremely difficult decision to rehome our 6-month-old puppy. She has been in training to become a service dog, but she is too anxious outside the home to continue her training. It's devastating to have to do this, but she needs a home to relax in. Please message me if you are interested. We are going to be very selective in this process as we need to be 100% sure that this dog we have fallen in love with is going to a home where she can be truly happy. About Nellie: Nellie is 6 months old and about 25 pounds at the moment. Her mom is a bluetick coonhound and her dad is a boxador (boxer/lab mix). She seems like she is going to be very leggy and tall. She is very food motivated and will do anything for a treat, but she is not defensive or aggressive around food. She plays very well with other dogs and our trainer did not notice any aggression around her dogs when Nellie was boarded with her for a few days. Nellie has not yet been spayed. Nellie is crate trained and definitely needs a large crate to be comfortable. She sleeps in the crate, but we've taken many very soft, warm naps in the bed with her. She definitely has bursts of energy, but listens well to us at home. With her disposition, she needs to be a home-body. Also, snuggling is her favorite thing in the universe. She hasn't had very much experience with children, but she has done well with kids with careful and close supervision. She grew up with our 2 cats and still tries to play with them. It is clear to us that she is being very gentle, but she does chase them when they try to run away. She has shown no aggression toward the cats. We are seeking a rehoming fee of 600 to help with the costs of starting over with a new service dog. Text or email preferred.
