Dismantles, moves and loads large metal items and pallets of material. Education High School Diploma or equivalent Work Experience This is an entry level position. Previous salvage yard or part dissembler a plus, but not required Plasma cutting, forklift operation, excavator operation a plus Physical Requirements Must be able to operate a torch Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Have the ability to learn to recognize and classify metals such as brass, copper, stainless steel, aluminum and other metals Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude who requires little to no supervision Must be able to meet the physical demands of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to stand, walk, lift, bend, squat, stoop, etc. for long periods of time Work outside in all conditions except lightening
