Press release - New Fairfield Historical Society, New Fairfield, CT Location: The Little Red Schoolhouse Address: 19 Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield, CT June 13, 2021; Butter churning demonstration at the Little Red Schoolhouse 1:00 - 3:00p.m. All are welcome and each child attending will go home with their own homemade butter! The Little Red Schoolhouse is maintained as a living history museum by the New Fairfield Historical Society. Volunteers will be available to answer questions about the schoolhouse and the history of the town’s original 7 one-room school system. The event is free but donations are greatly appreciated.
