Service Center Sales and Service Rep’s responsibility is to be primary “Customer Service” point of customer contact for local SSC accounts. Create “Raving Fan” customer relationships by handling standard sales and service interactions / transactions. Qualifications • High School diploma • 2+ years’ experience of office administration Job Duties • Utilize the Star System to log notes of conversations that bring value to Ameristar (not just for special projects, must be ongoing) • Continually update customer profiles. • Direct incoming customer calls to appropriate team member. • Review customer purchase orders for logic, completeness, and item accuracy • Communicate with customers regarding all potential errors • Enter standard stock sales orders • Process all credits, OS&Ds, and RMAs • Notify Service Center Sales Team Manager of any potential customer issues that could impact Ameristar negatively. • Manage daily Ameristar delivery routing. • Address all customer problems / issues (freight related, ship dates, etc.) in a professional and timely manner within company policy. • Assist in the development and mentoring of new team members. • Outbound sales calls. • When necessary, help with warehouse duties, pulling orders, loading/unloading trucks, loading customers and cleaning. • Ad hoc assignments as required SSC Branch Manager and Director. • Establish deep relationships with customers (contractors, distributors, etc.) Benefits Include • Medical, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability • Company Provided Short Term Disability • 401k • Company paid Life Insurance • Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts • EAP To apply please click on link below:
