Our company is looking for a General Labor for our small construction/development projects. The qualified individual will be able to work FT, drive provided company vehicles, & assist owner with various development projects. Duties/Responsibilities: • Successful applicants MUST have a valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license, have a safe driving record, and pass a criminal background check. • Accountable for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards. • Capable of working alone or with a crew. • Company provided vehicles with specialty tools must be kept clean and in order daily. • Ensure the proper safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite to perform required work. • Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues yet be adjustable to a constantly changing environment. • Must have basic knowledge and experience of general construction and landscape maintenance. • Ability to operate power tools and yard equipment is preferred but not required. • Good communication and interpersonal skills a plus. • Experience in project planning and estimating costs is preferred. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize work and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects. • Requires the ability to climb ladders and stairs, bend, kneel, stoop, dig, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for long periods of time. • Work environment may include indoors, outdoors, and in inclement weather. • Must have own reliable mode of transportation to travel to various project locations. Physical Demands and Work Environment: • Lift 50 lbs from the ground and pull 50 lbs of force. • Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a tool belt. • Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating & operating machinery. While performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to: • A variety of weather conditions including cold, rain, heat, etc. • High noise levels.
