A leading custom window treatments company in Orange County is seeking applicants for an installer assistant position for Hyatt Window Coverings, the lead installation contractor for our residential drapery, shade and shutter installations. This open position will provide support to this lead installer while learning a skilled trade. This position will also coordinate with management in the completion of all tasked projects. Responsibilities: • Measure windows and doors for treatments • Pre-mount and organize window treatments for installation • Layout required tools for each project • Electrical wiring of automated window treatment systems (AC and DC) • Clean up of job site • Attend mandatory certification training sessions on new products, installation certifications and safety Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required • 1 year of work experience in skill trades preferred • Must be able to life 50 lbs. • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on scaffolds and able to work on your feet for long periods of time • Good customer service skills required • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and driving background check • Must have a valid state driver’s license • Must be able to work occasional weekends
