As a Downpacker you will help ensure that manufactured items are ready for shipment by placing them into containers, sealing and labeling the items, and preparing the item for transport. Essential Functions -Work in cleanroom and maintain integrity and housekeeping of cleanroom -Package terpene products into appropriate containers -Complete proper documentation required for each stage of packaging -Bag and box finished goods -Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot the packaging processes as needed -The ability to follow all quality and safety protocols -General housekeeping duties -Follow all safety rules, which requires wearing of personal protective equipment when packaging -Ensures weights, measures and raw materials are managed appropriately to assure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities -Follow all SOP’s and uphold quality standards while mixing/blending of chemicals to make a finished product. -Ability to set up and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment including mixing vessels, filling machines, pumps, labelers, and induction sealers -Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Additional Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the following general knowledge -GED/High School Diploma required, some college (Science/Math) a plus -Basic Math Skills, position requires measurements. -Punctual, adhere to schedule. -Self-starter, willingness to take on other tasks -Ability to follow instructions in English -This position requires you stand for long periods of time, frequent use of manual dexterity and ability to reach, lift up to 40 lbs.
