Christmas Light Installers Do you have outdoor work experience, enjoy hard work and being part of team? Are you responsible, dedicated, and looking for a full time or seasonal position with a stable company? Full time = year round and/or Seasonal = Now thru Jan 2022. The Christmas Light Guy Company is one of the leading holiday decoration companies in Southern California. We provide holiday lighting displays and décor for a broad range of projects, including cities, commercial buildings, shopping centers, office buildings, community association entrances, and single-family residences. Our warehouse is located in Stanton/Garden Grove, CA. We are looking to hire Commercial Christmas Light Installers. This position is responsible for completing installation as part of a team on Commercial projects (September thru January) and warehouse organization, installation and other projects in the off season (February thru September). The ideal candidate will have previous experience working working with your hands and takes pride in their work. Candidate must be hard-working, self-motivated, willing to be flexible with job needs as they arise, and work well under pressure. This person will play a vital role and will be a pivotal member of our team. Position will report directly to Owner and Installation Supervisor. JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES · Install holiday and decorative lighting, decorations and banners on buildings and trees at job sites. · Set up and work from ladders when required. · Locate, report, and troubleshoot power issues related to lighting or lit décor. · Drive company vehicles to and from job sites · Manage warehouse responsibilities including organization, light/décor maintenance/handling/prep, tool prep, staging/loading/unloading, deliveries, inventory, and production. · Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Must be available to work weekends and some nights during high install season (November-January) Strong problem solving and multitasking skills. Ability to think quickly, logically and analytically. Good driving record, Need Valid Driver’s License. Prior warehouse experience is a plus. Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Pay: $15 - $25/hr depending on experience, opportunity for year round salary with paid time off.
