Simply Solar is looking for dependable and motivated individuals to join their installation team on job sites throughout Southern CA. Positions are available for ALL skill levels, from no experience required to 10+ years of experience. There is plenty of room to advance within and learn a great trade from experienced solar technicians and electricians. Positions are full time, hourly, non-exempt with great medical, dental, vision, retirement and paid time off benefits. Entry Level Installer $16+/hr While it is not required that you have solar experience, it is essential that you have good coordination, general knowledge of tools, are not afraid of heights/working on roof tops and are able to work outdoors and in the sun for long periods of time. Junior Installer $19+/hr While this position requires you to have some solar experience, you will receive supervision/ direction to deliver an end product matching plans. It is essential that you have good coordination, general knowledge of tools, are not afraid of heights/working on rooftops and are able to work outdoors and in the sun for long periods of time. It is also required that you have the knowledge to install: -Stanchions -Flashings -Racking -Mount microinverters/optimizers -Lay modules -Bend conduit Senior Installer $22+/hr It is essential that you have good coordination, general knowledge of tools, are not afraid of heights/working on rooftops and are able to work outdoors and in the sun for long periods of time. At this level it is expected that you are able to perform these tasks without direction: -Setup a layout for the install -Install stanchions -Install Flashings -Install Various racking systems -Install Microinverters/optimizers -Install Modules -Bend conduit -Install Wiring/Stringing -Make up junction boxes -Can mount electrical equipment downstairs -Problem solve and make decisions -Can direct entry level employees in tasks General Requirements Those who apply must: Be authorized to work in the United States, be age 18 or older, pass a background check, maintain a regular 40 hours per week schedule, arrive on time to work each day, be willing and able to commute to job sites within southern California, regularly lift heavy objects of 50lbs+, be willing and able to climb commercial sized ladders and work on a roof top for the majority of their shift.
