Description The Shipper is responsible for processing, shipping, returning, loading, transferring, and receiving of goods while ensuring accurate levels of inventory at all times. This position also involves itemization, quality control, and documentation of all outgoing product. Duties 1. Shipping / Receiving a. Responsible for appearance and quality of packaging b. Ensure that all orders are shipped within specific time designations and adhere to routing guide or customer requirements c. Responsible for all aspects of shipping d. Palletize all inbound and outbound freight e. Utilizing technology for effective and efficient package delivery f. Obtaining rate quotes to ensure best practices g. Following specific custom requirements of packaged details 2. Warehouse a. Pull accurate inventory for shipping and production b. Maintain efficient product organization and logistics c. Assists in the counting of inventory levels at end of month d. Transfer of product to maintain accurate levels of inventory e. Ensures all transfer orders are accurate and complete f. Responsible for keeping a clean and operational work atmosphere 3. Quality Control a. Ensure that all product and packaging to leave the warehouse has a new and clean professional appearance 4. Miscellaneous a. Will assist with special tasks as required b. Maintain organization Requirements • High school diploma/GED is required • Forklift experience required • 1 year inventory maintenance required • 1 year shipping experience including working with freight companies, UPS and FEDEX required • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more • Must be able to use a pallet jack • Must be able to work overtime and weekends when necessary Full time employment with benefits!
