Description
I could care less if people get the vaccine or not. I was merely pointing out the cancel culture aspect for many non vaxers.
I am not sure were you are getting your information regarding getting vaccinated but your opinion does not parallel the recommendations of the CDC. The CDC recommends ALL people above the age of 16 get vaccinated regardless of health, age or if they have contracted covid previously.
Personally, I am not a vaccine guy. To be honest, I am not even a big fan or our medical community. I have not been to the doctor in over 12 years. I am fit and healthy. But I got the vaccine for the following reasons:
I wanted to do my part to protect vulnerable people around me.
I wanted to do my part in helping reopen our economy.
Clearly, infection rates and case rates drop in areas where the vaccination numbers are higher.
I wanted to reduce the risk of spreading the virus to my friends, family and coworkers.
Unlike many people, I Trust Fauci, the CDC and the medical community.
As variants of covid occur, i have a bit more peace of mind.
Getting the vaccine is the quickest way for us to not have to bother with the mask anymore.
I really think the vaccine opposition is being dramatic. The vaccine is really not a big price to pay for the health of the community. It’s really not a big deal. There are far more important things to take a stand against than a silly shot. I think everyone should have the choice to get vaccinated or not get vaccinated. I am glad that our government is not forcing anyone to get it. But I also believe that anti vaxers are being dramatic, selfish and silly.
The sooner more people get vaccinated, the sooner we can move on from this pandemic.
