PROJECT MANAGER
Job Description:
LMC Corporation is a General Contractor for Commercial Construction operating for over two decades. We are currently seeking a Project Manager with 5+ years’ experience. Project Managers will oversee major and minor projects from start to finish coordinating all aspects of the construction process to effectively manage the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Must be able to read/comprehend drawings, communicate and implement customer provisions.
* Produce job estimates by interpreting drawings.
* Monitor job development set against schedules and address any issues that may arise.
* Schedule and organize materials and/or equipment to guarantee project completion based on site visits and scope of work.
* Interact with foreman and supervisor to ensure construction projects move forward efficiently and assist with issues that may arise.
* Manage subcontractors' schedule and equipment delivery for project completion.
* Build strong customer relationships and self-confidence in speaking with business owners and personnel.
* Maintain documentation internally including daily reports and change orders to ensure job is completed with the selected completion date.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Must live in Houston Metropolitan Area
* 5+ years Commercial Construction Experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong computer skills including MS Office Programs and Microsoft Outlook
* Problematic solver with strong ethic, team oriented and customer focus
* Organized and self directed
* Knowledge of reviewing project plans
* Ability to manage multiple projects and completion dates
* Preserve a professional appearance and attitude
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
* Own reliable transportation
