Asanas are built from the ground up with an emphasis on alignment and breath. Meditations incorporate mindfulness, visualizations, and mantra, while democratic discussions explore the individuality and universality of spiritual practice. Informed by Yoga, Buddhism, and Native American worldviews, Wilder enjoys organizing community projects and tending a farm in Dresden, Maine. Ida Lennestål, RYT 200hr Ida teaches a slow Hatha-flow with a focus on the energetics of the body. My intention is to find joy and healing through movement and somatic experience by creating a space for students to return to their physical, mental and spiritual body. My wish is that this practice deepens not only the connection to the many layers of ourselves but also the environment around us. Ida hails from Luleå in the north of Sweden where the reindeer roam, but currently resides in Georgetown Maine where she runs a Treehouse business (Seguin Tree Dwellings) while raising her daughters. I’m looking forward to practicing with you! Ariel Burns, RYT 200hr In Ariel’s classes, you can expect soundscapes of thoughtfully curated, rhythmic music and ample opportunities to dive more deeply inward. She is eager to share her passion for the transformative potential of asana practice, especially to those in the building trades. As a young woman who builds homes for a living, she relies on her yoga practice to help integrate the physical nature of her work. Through vivid imagery and mindful cues, Ariel will guide students through sequences toward a full mind-body experience and help them feel more at home in their own skin. Ariel currently dwells in a riverside cottage in Georgetown with her rabbit Willow where she hatches themes for her next yoga class! Nicole Testa, RYT 200hr Immerse yourself in the moment in Nicole's breath-focused classes. Whether she is guiding a vigorous vinyasa or holding quiet space in a restful posture, connecting breath and movement is the resounding theme that encourages mind-body integration and bringing students to the present moment.
