The office maintenance worker is reasonable to maintain the facility's cleanliness! Must ensure the facility is clean, safe & hazard-free. The internal (and at times could be external) appearance of a building reflects on the occupants, so this job is definitely for a detail oriented individual who CARES TO KEEP THINGS CLEAN! It is important for a maintenance worker, to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning, and tidying the premises, as well as preventing vandalism.
Responsibilities
• Individual must adhere to the scheduled custodial and preventive maintenance schedule to ensure that all common, waiting rooms, restrooms, kitchen and office areas, are maintained in a clean, sanitary, and orderly manner. At all times must be able to ensure restrooms are sanitary and attractive throughout the day and have adequate supplies as needed. • All trash bins are emptied throughout the day, and containers are sanitized weekly. • Rugs and floors properly cleaned daily. • Dust and vacuum all offices and common spaces; as well as general maintenance needed; light bulbs, moving & arranging of office furniture. Ensure all debris, water, and garbage from hallways, sidewalks, and entrances & exits are cleared for staff & client safety. • Assume responsibility for care and maintenance of equipment and cleaning supplies. • Work directly with managers to advise on supplies and material needs, repairs or furniture replacements. • Help monitor facility security and safety by performing tasks as locking doors, checking electrical appliances to ensure safety hazards are not created. • Deep cleaning of all common areas.
