hiya, writing songs by myself is fun and all, but as a friend who's really into astrology once said, it's the intersection of those elemental energies that gives momentum and tension to the music, so I am searching for a collaborator (or two) with whom to listen to records and fuck around with a drum machine. I'm going for a minimal vibe: guitar, drum machine (or stand-up drummer à la Maureen Tucker, Bobby Gillespie or Melissa Scaduto), vocals, synth (?) that is a mash up between royal trux and deux (French duo). artists I also dig: dead moon, anika, 39 clocks, spacemen 3, velvet underground, sextile, lizzy mercier descloux, patti smith, pj harvey, la femme, the kvb, the fall, le butcherettes, suicide, the kills, mazzy star, gun club, D.A.F. (neue deutsche welle in general), French yéyé 1960s (Françoise Hardy, Serge Gainsbourg), sonic youth, m.i.a., jesus and mary chain, cabaret voltaire, l.a. witch, the raveonettes, le tigre, couteau latex. ideally looking for folks down to tour if this turns into something and sleep in shitty hotels since musicians don't make any money. at least we get to see a lot of that wide world and perform in front of new friends (strangers). bonus points if you can sing and harmonise. write me a story or a poem or a list of cities you'd like to visit someday. ✌️
