Join the Friends of the Boston Harborwalk for a walking tour of Port Norfolk in Dorchester. The tour will begin at the gazebo located near Venezia Restaurant at 20 Ericsson Street. We’ll explore the manufacturing history of Boston’s second port (during the 1800s) including Stearns Lumber Company, Putnam Nail, and Lawley Shipyard. We’ll also discuss a proposed and significant redevelopment of a section of Port Norfolk. Tour begins at the gazebo located approximately two hundred feet southeast of Venezia Restaurant at 20 Ericcson Street, Dorchester (02122).
