Join Wild Whimsy Apothecary for an Herbal Iced Tea Tasting & Create A Special Blend to Take Home & Enjoy This Summer! Explore Herbal Iced Teas w/ Wild Whimsy Apothecary Herbal teas aren't just for winter. Join us on Sunday, June 27th at 12:30 pm with Amy, owner of Wild Whimsy Apothecary, to get creative and explore the craft of growing, harvesting, and crafting flavorful teas with the gifts that mother nature so generously provides us! There are many tasty herbs with nutrients like vitamin c, antioxidants and minerals. These can be blended to create some delicious iced tea blends. During the summer months, many of our garden herbs and native wild plants are abundant and easy to use in tea blends. You'll taste different herbs in tea, discuss their properties and flavor profiles and learn the basics on blending these together to create teas that are yummy and nutritious. We'll talk about garden herbs as well as ethical harvesting techniques to use wild harvested plants. You'll be working with lemon balm, different types of mint, garden sage, spruce tips, and more! This workshop will last for approximately an hour and a half. Come learn with us. Date: Sunday, June 27 from 12:30 - 2 PM Price and Materials: Your $38 workshop fee includes all tastings, instruction and the creation of a blended tea to brew at home this summer. Each attendee will create and take home a bag of tea that that will brew 10-12 cups or 3-4 gallons of tea, along with 3 eco friendly, reusable, cotton tea bags for easy brewing. About Your Instructor: Amy, Herbalist and Owner of Denver's Wild Whimsy Apothecary, has created a life that highlights her love and passion for flowers, plants and herbs. She enjoys teaching others about the benefits of herbs, teas and more natural living. Cancellation Policy: Curate Mercantile workshops are built around solopreneurs, makers and small business owners. We are committed to offering you an amazing and fun experience, so we need your help to make our community work. Most events must meet an established minimum set by the workshop host to move forward. If the minimum is not met 72 hours in advance of the event start time, the event will be automatically canceled and all registered guests will be refunded to their original form of payment.
