General Manufacturing Labor Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Assembly and Fabrication of components and product, including lifting and pulling of materials • Perform quality inspections and carefully measure material • Support line as necessary • Review and understand daily production schedule • Communicate with Supervisor or Team Leaders to ensure synchronization of work flow • Operate fabrication equipment (see below) • Train • Identify and report potential safety issues to Supervisor or Team Leader Equipment and Tool Operation Including but not limited to. • Metal Bending Machine • Drill • Scissors • Screwdriver • Fabric Cutter • Assembly table • Transport Carts • Punch Press • Staple Gun • Banding Machine Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required for this position. However, job experience will be considered in lieu of this requirement. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to both air conditioned warehouse conditions and outside wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; heat and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
