Lost bag in a taxi; IDs inside; please help!

Hello, I’m trying to help a friend who doesn’t have great English skills. He lost a bag in a taxi on Tuesday, June 1, as he was traveling from JFK to Astoria. Unfortunately, the bag contained several of his IDs, a bank card and cash. Even if the cash is missing, he would very much like the bag back.
