Rugby's best tournament without a team. Let the hat decide your fate over 3 glorious days of camping in Rockford, IL. As the State seems to be working its way back to Phase 5 and back to being fully open, the Ravens are currently planning to host The Luck of the Draw Tournament (Whorefest) in 2021!!! Mark it on your calendars, July 30-August 1st, 2021 at the Lyran Sports Park (address below). 4751 Southbend Rd Rockford, IL 61109 United States The new location offers us greater possibilities as well as it has much more space and resides along the riverbank. However, expect the old sequence of events to occur; ie gates to open officially on Friday around 3pm, all day rugby on Saturday, bonfires at night and all packed up and out of the park by Sunday morning. Gates will be locked in the evenings (after 10/10:30). As always, midnight rugby to be played on Saturday night! Price for the two days of camping and the rugby (w/ shirt) will be $40. It will be $10 if you are just camping. New this year will be the OPTION to purchase your tickets ahead of time or pay cash at the time of the event. The link to purchasing tickets will be on the event page. Please note, purchasing tickets ahead of time through Eventbrite has is a small charge set by the service. There will be food that will be for sale, but individuals are encouraged to pack some food and drinks and bring it for the weekend. Bring everything you need to camp as we will be camping along the river this year. Pass this on to everybody you can and spread the word far and wide! It’s been too long for not having rugby, so let’s make this year, the biggest and best tournament in our history!
