Description
I’m a guitarist in my late 20s and have been playing for the majority of my life. I love playing U2 songs and would love to start a cover band that focuses on the Joshua Tree era. I love the look of the band at that time and think it would be great to try and replicate that simplicity and sicerity before Achtung Baby. I know several U2 songs from The Joshua Tree and other classic hits including, but not limited to: Desire, All I Want Is You, Pride (In The Name Of Love), Bad, Sunday Bloody Sunday, 40, Gloria, I Will Follow, and several more. I play very little piano, but would be able to learn with a bit of practice. Also, I have a video of myself in a previous band playing Where The Streets Have No Name and can send if requested. I’m really looking to link up with some musicians that are about the same level as me - so, you have been playing for several years and are a quick learner. I also don’t have equipment for you to borrow. I also do not have a rehearsal space. Please no stoners, alcoholics, or other substance abusers. Not trying to take this TOO seriously, but I’m also not trying to waste time. I’m looking for people with a professional attitude and a deep love for playing music. So… where’s my Larry, Adam, and Bono??
