Mid Summer Adventure Ride for BMW riders discovering parts of Northern Vermont you may of never known existed! We will meet at Franks Motorcycle Sales and Service between 7:30 and 8:00 AM Sunday June 27th where a light breakfast will be supplied, coffee, juice, muffins, bagels, and route maps handed out. Come full of GAS and prepared for rain or shine. This will be a mostly dirt road ride with some stretches of minimal pavement there will be some class 4 or poorly maintained dirt roads within the mix. Ultimately I would recommend dirt tires but want you to do what you feel is comfortable to you. This ride is most importantly fun for all and not going to be an advanced off road riding experience. If you are interested in installing a set of more off road oriented tires we will be running special pricing on off road tires all month to help assist you in doing so. The ride will cover about 135 miles of Vermont Roads and take roughly 4 hours or so to complete. You will be led by Frank's own Kamran Pelkey who has many years riding and racing on dirt and pavement ! There will be Three stops or breaks to gather back up, fuel up both our bikes and bodies whichever need it most! The end of the Discovery Route will be at the Lewis Pond Overlook in Norton, Vermont with the actual end of the ride being at one of two locations which is weather dependent. Basically one venue being outside one being inside where a celebration and excellent BBQ Lunch will be take place. Burgers, Dogs, Chicken, Sausage, and all the sides and refreshments provided by Franks Motorcycle Sales and Service. Door prizes and a small awards ceremony also!! This is a FREE EVENT but you must follow these three requirements, especially #3! 1. You MUST be riding a BMW. Does not need to have been purchased from Frank's but ONLY BMW Motorcycles will be allowed on this ride this time around. 2. You MUST RSVP or "purchase" a ticket to this event. We cannot accept maybe's and day of show ups for this event. 3. Must be willing to have fun on your motorcycle with like minded people!
