Learn how the Amarillo Sod Poodles were able to do things no other franchise in the country was able to accomplish during a COVID year. Matt joined the Amarillo Sod Poodles in September of 2018. He is responsible for helping grow the organization through corporate sales, sponsorships, and premium business development. Matt, a McKinney, TX native, spent eight years working in local news doing a number of different things, but mainly as a Sports Anchor at NewsChannel10. He made the transition behind the camera and into the advertising and marketing world in May of 2017, which ultimately helped him land his current position with The Sod Poodles. Matt majored in Mass Communications - Sports Broadcasting and graduated from West Texas A&M University in May 2010. The American Advertising Federation – Amarillo (AAF-Amarillo) is recognized by the city, the District, and the National organization as a professional club dedicated to the following principles: Truthful Advertising — to inform consumers and help them buy more intelligently. Good Advertising — to serve the public interest by creating an awareness of new products and services. Major Goals — to improve our economy by stimulating sales, lower manufacturing and distribution costs, establish scholarships and increase employment. We believe every person engaged in advertising and its allied fields has an obligation to contribute their time and talent to the development of the profession and its goals.
