What does it look like to faithfully serve God as a journalist in Los Angeles?
After a difficult year of tension and controversy in our cultural moment, the field of Journalism is experiencing unprecedented polarization and a myriad of conflicting views. How do we as believers discern truth and find sound information when everyone with a smartphone is an outlet on social media? How can journalists best serve communities locally and globally with integrity in their vocations?
As part of CFWLA’s vision to reframe vocation and reshape culture, we invite you to join us for our next sector-based event in our Reimagining Work series with our sixth gathering focused on exploring faith and journalism in Los Angeles.
Our first in-person gathering since the beginning of the pandemic will include a panel discussion and an audience Q&A with our guest panelists. Light refreshments will be provided before and after the event along with time to connect with fellow attendees and our speakers.
*Note. This event will be hosted outdoors and will adhere to all current CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.
