Join us at TITLE Boxing Club McKinney for a Boxing Fundraiser for former member Terri Eklund who recently lost her husband. From Owner Justine Poffel : "I first met Terri on December 20, 2019. She walked into TITLE Boxing Club of McKinney, bright-eyed and smiling, approached the front desk where I was training a team member, smacked her hand on the counter and proclaimed, ”So, tell me what you do here!” I wasn’t exactly sure of what to make of this powerhouse WOMAN, but I do remember she immediately made me smile and immediately had my full attention. My follow up question to her was, ”Well that depends! Why are you here?” I have never forgotten her response. She said, “I want to be strong again!” To which I replied, “Then you have come to the exactly right place?” Terri joined our TITLE family that same day. She instantly made friends and became a source of joy and laughter to all who boxed with her. Such a hard worker. A cancer survivor. A true WARRIOR! Since that happy time, and over the course of the pandemic Terri has struggled with covid, a relapse of her cancer and now the devastating and sudden loss of her husband, Chris. Please join us on June 27th at 2pm for a Boxing Power Hour Fundraiser for Terri. Now is our time to be warriors for Terri and her daughters." *You do not need to be a member to donate or to attend this event, it is open to the public. **All proceeds raised will go to Terri and her daughters.
