Outdoor guided play group for kids & caregivers. The next Y&B Guided Play Group is Friday, June 4th from 9-11am at Standing Bear Kids Park. Theme: SCAVENGER HUNT What ages should attend? Kids: Guided activities are for kids age 3-10, but younger/older kids are encouraged to participate! Caregivers: Generally 19 years & older. We recommend two caregivers attend if bringing 3+ children.Cost First Child - $16Other Children (Same Family) - $14Age 2 & Under - Donation RequestedI'm new. What's a "Guided Play Group"? A chance for kids to play with other kids without parents having to worry about coming up with activities, set up, and clean up. Young & Bold provides activities and games for the group. *It is NOT a place to drop off kids by themselves. A parent or caregiver must be present during the event, and we hope you'll play too! If your child is entertained and you need a break... take one! Just please keep an eye out. What you should bring... Water, snacks, & sunscreenFolding chair or blanket for rest breaksClose toed shoesOther things to know... The Kids Park is ONLY accessible from 132nd Street (map below)Plenty of parking.Restrooms: A Port-john is nearby, but those aren't the most enjoyable experiences. We're working on that!While activities utilize the Kids Park, its great if your child(ren) prefer independent play.
