Join us for a FREE guided painting event with Nived Art (Devin McLaughlin) to kick off the New Bedford Library Adult Summer Reading Program! FREE Guided Painting with Nived Art Have you ever wanted to try your hand at painting? Maybe you don't know where to start, or maybe you just want to have some fun without investing in art supplies. Guided painting is perfect for budding artists or anyone wanting a relaxing afternoon. Both sessions have 18 spots available, so sign up in advance by following the QR code. You will leave with a completed canvas that you can take home. The event is free, and all art supplies are provided for you! Please let us know in advance if you are unable to attend during your selected session or the rain date so we may fill your spot. This event will be held outdoors near the front steps of the library. Water will be provided. Feel free to bring your own snacks. The bathrooms in the library will be available for attendees. We ask that all attendees sign up separately so we can have their updated contact info. Devin “Nived” McLaughlin is a multifaceted artist based in New Bedford, MA. As a Native to South Coast New England, he finds an endless source of inspiration in the surrounding post-industrial cities and rural landscapes. Nived employs a wide array of styles, mediums, and disciplines in his artwork, and whether it's painting workshops, art parties, or any other art adjacent event, he is always helping others build their skills.
