A training to help you build intervention skills, identification knowledge, and confidence in the application of skills learned. ACE-SI: Ask, Care, Escort - Suicide Intervention will provide you with the skills, knowledge & awareness to intervene with individuals who are at risk for suicide. Volunteers should expect after training to have: * increased awareness of stigma and its negative effects on help seeking ** increased knowledge and skills for Identifying, intervening, and referringat-risk warriors and family members for help *** increased competence & confidence in the application of skills learned ****increased knowledge of military and community resources for warrior & family member referrals Kiilani from MONG R3SP and Antoinette from MONG Family Programs will be presenting ACE-SI. Activities throughout the day to help you feel more comfortable in intervention efforts. Lunch will not be provided, however, there are many great restaurants to choose from in Lebanon, MO.
