Press release from the Town of Westford: June 2, 2021 Westford senior residents on fixed incomes occasionally look to the Council on Aging for help with small/odd jobs.  Requests that come in are varied but include: installing window air conditioners, changing faucets, repairing computers, rewiring lamps, moving furniture, trimming hedges and more. Annette, the Outreach Coordinator, screens the requests and then emails the handypersons who then select which jobs they are comfortable helping with.  If you are looking for meaningful ways to help our senior residents please consider this role.  Applicants will need to complete a volunteer application, CORI background check and sign a policy and procedures handout.  To discuss this role further please call Annette at 978-399-2326.  This press release was produced by the Town of Westford.
