Sudbury, Wayland Students At Minuteman Earn Scholarships

SUDBURY, MA — Three Minuteman High School students from Sudbury and Wayland are ending their high school career with scholarships for college, according to the school district. Minuteman serves students living in Acton, Arlington, Bolton, Concord, Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Needham and Stow, but students from outside those towns can apply to attend. These Sudbury and Wayland students earned awards, according to Minuteman High School: Colin Mitchell, an Engineering Technology student from Sudbury, received the Adams Scholarship. Mitchell will attend Northeastern University. Day Kolz, an Early Education and Teaching student from Wayland, is a member of the National Honor Society and was Minuteman's selection for the Walter J. Markham Award. Kolz received the Adams Scholarship, President's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement, the Digital Federal Credit Union Scholarship, the Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators Award, and the Ryan Eaton Memorial Award. Kolz will attend Boston College to study transformative educational students and early elementary education. Morgan Calverley, a Design and Visual Communications student from Wayland, received the Adams Scholarship, the President's Education Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement, the Minuteman Players Drama Club Award, and the Digital Federal Credit Union Scholarship. Calverley will attend Wheaton College.
