NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL — One person was injured during a stabbing at a North Miami Beach Publix grocery store Tuesday afternoon. Around 2 p.m., North Miami Beach police tweeted that they were at the Publix at 14641 Biscayne Blvd., where the stabbing took place. Though the suspect tried to run away, police were able to take them into custody. The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. @myNMBPolice Is currently on the scene of a stabbing that occurred at 14641 Biscayne Blvd (Publix). The subject fled the scene however NMBPD officers quickly apprehended the suspect. The victim is currently being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
