We are looking for an experienced Plumber to efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing pipes and water heaters. A successful plumbers are patient individuals with superior customer services skills with a practical mind and manual dexterity, able to work efficiently with great attention to detail. The goal of this individual is to install and maintain well-functioning systems that transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids. Duties and Responsibilities · Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems. · Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring) · Install and maintain water supply systems · Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks) · Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc. · Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems (air-conditioning units, radiators etc.) · Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems · Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites · Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites · Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems · Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains · Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections · Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to clients Skills and Requirements · Proven experience as a plumber · Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings · Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances · Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.) · Good communication and interpersonal skills · Friendly with a great deal of patience · Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces · Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces · Ability to lift 50 LBS or more. · Good communication and interpersonal skills · Be able to quote jobs when out on a potential job call. · Friendly with a great deal of patience · Three or more years of trade experience as a plumber or plumber's apprentice · Thorough knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs · Ability to drive company vehicles to various commercial and residential sites for work · Must Speak English - Bilingual a plus but not required. Education and Licenses · High school diploma or GED or Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship · Valid plumber's license to practice profession · A valid Driver's license with a good driving record – Must be able to provide a DMV report.
