2 Mobile Vaccine Sites Coming To Harlem This Week

EAST HARLEM, NY — Harlemites who haven't yet had time to get their coronavirus vaccines may have their shot this week, when free, mobile vaccine sites arrive at two different locations in East Harlem. The two sites will offer the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. They will be open Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at these two locations: 237 East 104th St. (between Second and Third avenues)307 East 116th St. (off Second Avenue) No appointments are needed. The vaccine is available to all New York City residents age 18 or older, regardless of immigration status. People are asked to bring any form of ID that verifies their age. The three-day program is run jointly by NYC Health + Hospitals' Test & Trace Corps, as well as the neighborhood nonprofit Union Settlement. Across Harlem's eight ZIP codes, between 37 and 49 percent of residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine, according to city data. East Harlem's 10035 ZIP code is the most vaccinated, with at least 49 percent of residents having gotten at least one dose.
