Over 150 Greenwich Hospital Doctors Make 'Top Doctors' List

GREENWICH, CT — According to Greenwich Hospital, 170 doctors have made Connecticut Magazine's "Top Doctors in America" list. "We are fortunate to have such a large group of talented and compassionate physicians, which enables us to deliver the highest level of care," said Greenwich Hospital president Diane Kelly in a news release. "We greatly appreciate all that they do on behalf of our patients and the many communities we serve in Connecticut and New York." Overall, 662 physicians affiliated with Yale New Haven Health — which includes Bridgeport, Greenwich, Yale New Haven, and Lawrence + Memorial hospitals in Connecticut, Westerly Hospital in Rhode Island, and Northeast Medical Group — have been selected by Connecticut Magazine for the Top Doctors list in their June 2021 issue. According to the news release, the magazine partnered with Castle Connolly to compile the annual list of the state's top physicians. The 2021 nomination period was in February and physicians are able to nominate colleagues and peers who are board certified in their specialty and 10 years post medical school. Castle Connolly then makes the final determination. The "Top Doctors" issue features 1,560 physicians representing many specialties. According to the news release, physicians affiliated with Yale New Haven Health representing more than 60 specialties comprise 42 percent of the total list. The full list can be found here.
