Description

Diversity, Equity And Inclusion Are Keys To A Better And More Prosperous Community Vincent Brown is a founder of V. Randolph Brown Consulting, which is a minority-owned consultancy established in October 2012. V. Randolph Brown Consulting provides strategic consulting, advisory, education and training services on a variety of current business, leadership, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) topics for corporate and not-for-profit clients as well as consulting and marketing support to thriving small business enterprises. The firm is doing work in Pensacola with at least one firm and works with companies throughout the nation. His notable clients include the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Limited Brands, the NCAA, the NBA, Johnson and Johnson and Procter & Gamble. He is co-author of "Intrinsic Inclusion: Rebooting Your Biased Brain." The book explores how we might rewire our brains to disrupt implicit unconscious biases, change ‘default’ mindsets, and develop intrinsically inclusive behaviors. Brown also co-authored "The Phoenix Principles: Leveraging Inclusion To Transform Your Company." This best-selling book is credited with helping shape the thinking in modern corporate culture about diversity and inclusion. The book suggests a diverse talent pool is a competitive weapon for companies. But the culture of inclusion needed to leverage this business advantage is often mistakenly viewed as a project, rather than a cultural transformation that can result in increased market share, increased profits and more innovation for products and services. Brown was one of the original founders of Global Novations, a full-service human capital and talent optimization firm which counted Goldman Sachs as an investor. The firm was subsequently acquired by Korn/Ferry International in September 2012. He is a certified facilitator and serves on Herrmann International's Board of Advisors. He enjoys serving as a role model for minority entrepreneurs and is engaged in causes that reach out to disadvantages and disenfranchised communities and individuals. Vincent Brown, founder of V. Randolph Brown Consulting CivicCon is a joint program of the News Journal and the Studer Community Institute to make Pensacola a better place to live, grow, work and invest though civic conversations and smart planning.
