POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for logistical and administrative support of company-wide Concrete Products sampling of finished products, to include shipping to internal Sales Representatives, major customers, and providing estimated timing on deliveries and production of sample requests/ orders. Maintaining proper sample inventory and producing samples as requested, for a variety of end-users. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Performs an array of sample handling and preparatory tasks in support of the Concrete Products Sample program, to include: o Pulling product and grinding and/or sawing material as needed, washing, packaging, and labeling and/or delivery of product samples. Manage incoming, and ongoing requests for product samples using Microsoft Outlook and various other software tools, as well as Oracle; capable of using and learning standard office equipment and technology with proficiency. Willing and able to work upright and stationary and/or standing for typical working hours; able to work in non-traditional work environments with minimal supervision. On occasion, will be required to lift and move objects up to 70 pounds; comfortable with occasional-frequent use of power tools. Support Sales and Marketing teams by sourcing, processing, and preparing concrete product samples for delivery in a timely manner. Prepare associated paperwork tied to sample orders for will-call and delivery. Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: This position requires excellent written and oral communication abilities, as well as effective time management and project management skills; excellent organizational skills are essential. Problem solving/troubleshooting abilities and the capacity to work in a collaborative team environment is a must. The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, and Excel. Applicants must pass a pre-employment UA and be eligible to work in the United States. This position works first shift, typically 7AM to 3:30 PM M-F with a starting range starting at $16-$18/hr. DOE.
