Sammamish Plateau Water is looking for a team player who is self-motivated and possesses the ability to take initiative and work effectively as Grounds Maintenance Technician. Our Grounds Maintenance Technician is responsible for the grounds maintenance and repairs of the District facilities, easements and other surrounding areas to ensure facilities and surroundings are safe and environmentally friendly. If you meet the following criteria:  High school diploma or GED  Prior experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping  Valid Washington State Driver’s License in good standing  Practice and follow safety rules, regulations and procedures necessary to maintain a safe work environment  Identify potential hazards and correct around the building and District sites  Carry out landscaping and grounds keeping responsibilities at all District facilities  Self-motivated and work independently with minimum supervision Knowledge/Experience helpful in:  Basic horticulture  Outdoor landscaping and tools such as shovels, rakes, hand pruners and saws  Outdoor landscaping power operated tools and equipment such as mowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, weed whackers Specific Applying and Interview Instructions: Apply online at Employment-62.
