Seeking experienced and skilled assistant wash plant operator / general equipment maintenance person for position in Arlington, WA. Will need to assist wash plant superintendent with all maintenance responsibilities related to wash plant and mobile crushing / screening equipment, and to repair / maintain heavy equipment used on site. Duties will include: ~ Assist wash plant superintendent with all aspect of wash plant operation and maintenance ~ Sample and test products in the lab to endure that all products meets or exceed ASTM, AASHTO, or WSDOT aggregate specifications / standards ~ Conduct daily safety and maintenance inspections to ensure compliance with MSHA rules and regulations. ~ Work closely with other team members to promote communication and teamwork. ~ Use safe and defensive driving techniques ~ Observe all applicable company safety policies and practices. ~ Comply with all MSHA rules and regulations. ~ Repair / maintain equipment on site Qualifications: Experience in working with tools, motors, belts, and heavy equipment. Experience operating heavy equipment. Experience in screen plant, wash plant and crushing plant operations / maintenance. Wage is dependent on experience and qualifications/skill level.
