<University of Washington, Department of Housing and Food Services (HFS) is pleased to announce openings for Custodian Lead-Days. The HFS Custodian Lead for day team serves as a team member, performing custodial tasks to maintain cleanliness and care of facilities. In our residential communities, our Custodian Leads are an essential provider of customer service for residential students and conferees. Task include cleaning assigned areas, inspecting custodial areas to ensure that departmental cleanliness standards are met, maintaining key security, instructing employees in proper cleaning techniques and safety practices, initiating work orders, and ordering as well as distributing equipment and supplies. Minimum Qualifications: Physical ability to do required work and one year of experience as a custodian, or equivalent education/experience.
