The HFS Weekend Custodian serves as a team member, performing custodial tasks to maintain cleanliness and care of facilities. In our residential communities, our custodians are an essential provider of customer service for residential students and conferees. Tasks include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms/shower rooms, public areas, apartments and bedrooms. Custodians need to follow written and/or verbal instructions regarding the use of chemicals, supplies and equipment and comply with safety policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: Physical ability to perform work and one year of experience as a custodian, or equivalent combination of education and experience Equivalent combinations of education and experience may substitute for required qualifications. Conditions of Employment: A satisfactory outcome from the employment verification and reference check processes. Possession of a valid State of Washington Driver’s License. Custodians may be assigned to work in a residence hall, apartment complex, office/work area or UW Dining facility. This position will work on Saturday & Sunday, 7:00am-5:30pm. The salary range is 50% of $2,956 - $3,480/month + Benefits.
