Our muffler shop located in Kirkland, WA, is seeking ambitious candidates to join our team! We work on a very wide range of vehicles. Requirements of a team member are- Experience in the industry (certifications are always a plus but are not required), have your own tools (most special tools we supply), valid driver’s license with no restrictions required. The ability to work overtime when needed to complete the repairs needed to get the customers/fleet vendors vehicles back on the road as soon as possible. We need team members with an internal sense of urgency to stay on task and complete each task thoroughly. Skills & Experience • Mufflers and exhaust services • Welding and Pipe Bending • Able to hand prep piping for butt welds either using grinder or cutting machines • Knowledge of tack welding, pipe and hangers. • Must know standard items that pertain to pipe installation and testing. • Knowledge of bending rolling offsets and 90’s on a hand bender and machine benders • Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plans repair process • Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles • Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance • Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs • Inspect and test newly inventoried vehicles for necessary adjustments • Brake and Radiator services • Other requests from Service Manager Qualifications • Previous experience as an automotive technician, 2 years minimum • Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions • Mathematical skills • Computer skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Deadline and detail-oriented • Ability to sit, kneel, reach, stoop, crawl, lift 50 lbs, use close/distance/peripheral vision and depth perception, required to use hearing regularly and stand for long periods of time • Driver's License with no restrictions (Required) • Must maintain a clean and safe work area • Must be able to repair and maintain vehicles in a timely and efficient manner • Provide your own set of tools to perform required tasks Employment – Full-Time (Monday-Friday) Please reply with resume.
