Summer Music Camps @ B2R Nanuet  Summer is almost here! Rock Band, DJ, Glee Club, Beat Making, and Rock City World Tour camps are currently available for registration. Get the opportunity to learn music with new friends, record in our studio, and perform at the end of the week! Due to limited camp sizes, camps will fill up fast, so we recommend registering as soon as possible! Full-day sessions run from 9-4pm. Half-day sessions run from 9-12:30pm, and 12:30-4pm. DJ and Glee are offered in a half-day session only but can be combined with Rock Band for the full day price. Ask us how! Glee Club Camp is for ages 7+ Rock Band Camp is for ages 7+ *NEW* Beat Making Camp is for ages 8+ DJ Camp is for ages 10+ Rock City World Tour is for ages 4-6 *No experience necessary* Camp Pricing for 5-Day Camps Full-Day - $404 Half-Day - $314 * * * * * Build Your Own Camp @ B2R Nanuet! Stick to the classic Rock Band curriculum or focus on a specific instrument. Focus on recording and songwriting, or even spend time in our DJ lab creating and mixing your own music! Combine our popular Glee Club vocal camp with a focus on show tunes! Finish the week off with a performance on our stage! Pick your own start time. Register with your family or friends. Minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 kids per group. Assemble your own camp with kids you know! Virtual Summer Music Camps Ask us about B2R's virtual music camps for this summer! Choose from 10 weeklong mini-camps running throughout the summer. Kids can unlock their creativity, all online and from the comfort of their homes. Camps run Monday - Friday, and will provide fun and structure to a child's day! Instrumental Mini Camps Students learn the basics of their favorite instrument and learn to play or sing to a song by the end of camp! In addition to group instruction, students meet one-on-one with a B2R instructor for two 30-minute individual lessons. This ensures students are up to speed and allows extra time for students to ask questions and further hone their skills. - 90min/day, $225 for the week. Drums (Ages 7+) Utilizing a snare drum or a drum pad, students learn basic rhythms, sticking patterns, drum rudiments, and how to form a groove to lay down in a song. Piano (Ages 7+) This camp covers music-reading fundamentals, rhythm, and playing basic chords in a song. Voice (Ages 7+) In our voice camp, students learn vocal technique, rhythm, intonation, and listening skills, and of course, students will sing a song. Ukulele (Ages 7+) Students learn to tune their ukulele, play basic chords and start forming these chords into a song. Guitar (Ages 9+) Students learn how to tune their guitar, play basic chords, and then play a song.Rock City World Tour Mini-Camp (Ages 5-6) Students go on a world-wide musical adventure! The journey will go from Africa, to South America, and finally to outer space - learning about musical concepts and fun instruments along the way. - 45min/day, $75 for the week. Fun With Music (Ages 7-9) This camp introduces students to the drums, guitar, piano, ukulele and singing! Students learn the parts of each instrument and the basics of playing each one. No experience necessary, and an instrument is not needed to participate. The perfect mini camp for exploring various instruments to play - 1hr/day, $100 for the week. Songwriting Mini Camp (Ages 8+) Students learn the basics of writing a song, including song structure, key, tempo, genre, and lyrics! To participate in this camp, students only need a desire to learn - you do not need to play an instrument! - 90min/day, $150 for the week. Music Production Mini Camp (Ages 8+) Utilizing BandLab for Education, a free online recording platform, students learn the basics of recording, editing, and mixing. To participate in this camp students need a computer (Mac or PC) with Google Chrome installed AND a second computer or mobile device (a tablet is suggested). The computer with Google Chrome is needed to utilize BandLab. The second device is required to view the lessons. No musical experience is required! - 90min/day, $150 for the week. Intro to DJing Camp (Ages 10+) Using industry standard Serato software, students begin learning what it takes to be a DJ. Students will learn Serato software concepts like building song crates, making cue points and looping. Other DJ fundamentals like basic scratching, beat counting and song structure will also be taught. To participate in this class, students need a computer (Mac or PC) with Serato Lite (it’s free!) installed AND a second computer or mobile device (a tablet is suggested) to view the lessons.
